## Frequently asked questions

### Can I edit the text that's already in my PDF?

Not in place. A PDF stores text as positioned characters, and this tool doesn't rewrite them. To change a word, cover it with White-out and add a new text box on top in a similar font and size.

### Does White-out remove the text underneath?
